  • DCA applications and approvals for 2021 increased by 11% and 9% respectively compared to 2020.
  • For touristic, commercial and residential use applications increased by 157%, 2% and 8% respectively and approvals increased by 60%, 43%, and 8% respectively over the same period.
  • DCA also continues to receive and process applications with 393 applications and 345 approvals as of April 2022.
  • Both applications and approvals for Jan to April 2022 increased by 23% and 8% respectively compared to the same period in 2020, but have decreased when by 5% and 10% when compared to 2021.
  • The agency continues to work diligently to process applications and encourages persons to ensure that all the necessary documentation is submitted to reduce processing delays when seeking approval.
